Komatsu Launches MVT-II 600 Sizer with Matched Velocity Technology

Komatsu has launched its MVT-II 600 sizer, a crushing machine that can handle both moist, sticky material and hard, abrasive materials without clogging. The machine is designed to replace multiple dump stations or crushing stations and can fit in locations where traditional crushers cannot, making it ideal for mobile or underground applications. The new iteration of the Joy orange machines will now be painted Komatsu natural yellow.

Matched Velocity Technology for Efficient Crushing

The MVT-II 600 sizer features matched velocity technology, where the speed of the roll’s teeth matches the speed at which the rock falls through the crusher, resulting in reduced energy and material waste. The machine operates by tension rather than compression and can crush tougher minerals at a given level of force, resulting in fewer fines and lower waste disposal costs during production. The timed center-sizing rolls allow for three-dimensional control of output size by interlocking with each other, while the meshing teeth remove sticky, wet material from shafts more efficiently than conventional side-sizing teeth. When you are looking for heavy equipment for your project, you will consider the machine’s efficiency before making a purchase. This technology promises efficient crushing making the MVT-II 600 an ideal choice for buyers.

Cost-Effective Design

The MVT-II 600 sizer is designed for cost-effective operation and low maintenance. The machine combines robust picks and replaceable, bolt-on roll-wear parts, an automatic lubrication system, and tracking of bearing temperatures and vibration levels to warn staff of potential maintenance problems. The shaft components of the crusher contain replaceable teeth and cast wear regions for long service life.

Specifications

The MVT-II 600 sizer can handle a maximum feed size of up to 10 inches (250mm) and process up to 1,100 tons (1,000 metric tons) per hour. The machine can crush a variety of minerals and ores, including bauxite, phosphate, shale, coal, and limestone. The roll spacing and roll length range for the 14.3- to 18.7-tonne (13- to a 17-metric ton) sizer are 23.6 inches (600mm) and 39.4 to 98.4 inches (1,000 to 2,500mm), respectively.
