Last week, Xtreme Manufacturing introduced two new machines at the 2023 ConExpo-Con/Agg convention in Las Vegas. One of them is the XR50100-G telehandler, also known as “Trackzilla,” which has a maximum working height of 100 feet, a forward reach of 75 feet, and a maximum lift capacity of 50,000 pounds.
Trackzilla: A Mega-Xtreme-Capacity Telehandler
Xtreme Manufacturing claims that the XR50100-G is in a league of its own in terms of material-handling capabilities. It is the company’s first track-driven machine and is capable of navigating rough terrain with ease. The telehandler’s hydraulic cab provides a 360-degree view of the job site and is equipped with a suspension seat, rear backup camera, and multifunction display. Customers can choose from an open cab, enclosed cab with heat, or enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning.
The XR50100-G is powered by a Cummins 15-liter diesel engine that can deliver up to 675 horsepower at 2,100 rpm. Moreover, it features a Linde hydrostat transmission, extended front and rear axles, rear axle stability, and 165 gallons per minute of hydraulic flow. The machine can hold up to 300 gallons of fuel, and customers can add options like LED boom work lights, special paint, fork tines, and a 6-ft jib.
Xtreme Glazier XR2215-GL: The First Glass Lifter
Xtreme Manufacturing’s other new machine is the Xtreme Glazier XR2215-GL, the company’s first glass lifter. It has a two-section boom that can extend up to 5.4 feet and a lift capacity of 2,200 pounds when retracted and 500 pounds when extended.
The Xtreme Glazier XR2215-GL is powered by a Cummins 4.5-liter diesel engine that delivers 173 horsepower. It also has a hydrostatic transmission, four-wheel drive, and a maximum travel speed of 25 miles per hour. The machine’s cab is equipped with air conditioning and heating, a suspension seat, and a rearview camera.
Both the XR50100-G telehandler and the Xtreme Glazier XR2215-GL are designed for heavy-duty applications and are expected to deliver optimal performance and efficiency on the job site.
