Dynapac, a road-building equipment and technology company, is set to showcase its full range of solutions at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023 under the theme “Your Partner on the Road Ahead”. The company’s Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, Vijay Palanisamy, emphasized their commitment to being a sustainable partner, with their latest Z.ERA electric range of products, including electric rollers CC900 e and CC1000 e, to be launched alongside North American charging solutions. The electric rollers retain the power and performance of their diesel counterparts, offering the same static linear load, amplitude, gradeability, and travel speed. The company’s Z.ERA range of products will also include the DFP8X e and DFP9X e forward plate series, ideal for indoor construction or residential areas, and free of emissions. These tools have an easy start/stop function and are combined with a quick-charging and swappable battery unit for added convenience.

Dynapac will also introduce its new VI Generation asphalt rollers, ranging from 7 to 9 metric tons, with three articulated models and two fixed-frame pivot-steer split-drum models, from 59 to 66 inches in drum width. The mid-range rollers have several technologies derived from their larger counterparts, including seat rotation, a patented efficient eccentric system that has an active Eco mode fuel consumption, and a full backup water sprinkler system. Furthermore, the company is offering the successor to the FC1700C, the D17C commercial paver, ideal for medium to large parking lots and county roads with a standard paving width of 8 to 15.5 feet, which can pave up to 18 feet wide with bolt-on extensions. The paver has a direct-drive 16kW generator to the engine along with a fail-safe heat management system that also increases efficiency and reliability.
Dynapac will also showcase its recently launched American-made D30T paver, along with three other new models, the D30W, D25T, and D25W, as well as new screeds, the Mat Master 16R and Mat Master 20R, designed for high-speed paving of thin or thick layers of asphalt, suitable for highway jobs, new construction, or large commercial projects. Moreover, Dynapac will present an integrated pedestrian detection system, in collaboration with Trimble, for its compactors, alerting roller operators visually and audibly to reduce work-related injuries. Lastly, Dynapac’s Seismic technology for soil compaction will be extended to asphalt compaction, to be introduced on mid and large tandem asphalt rollers.
