Mecalac, a French company, has recently launched its innovative line of compact loaders, known as the Mecalac Compact Loader (MCL) series. These compact loaders offer exceptional performance, versatility, and speed all while occupying a minimal footprint. With six models available, ranging from MCL2 to MCL8, the Mecalac Compact Loaders cater to a variety of project requirements.
Enhanced Design and Features
The Mecalac Compact Loader line features advanced design elements and functionality that sets it apart from any other compact articulated loaders. By positioning the cabin on the rear chassis, Mecalac ensures greater stability, while the inclusion of a suspension axle and 10-degree center oscillation delivers a smoother ride and improved traction. The 45-degree articulation guarantees that the front and rear wheels follow the same path during movement. Dual-entry doors with steps and handrails provide easy access to the cab from a stable ground foundation.
Compact Size with Powerful Performance
Despite their small size, the Mecalac Compact Loaders boast impressive capabilities. With weights ranging from 3,836 to 6,283 pounds, these loaders offer exceptional lifting capacity. The MCL4+ and MCL6+ models, which feature a short boom, provide increased lifting capacity, while the other models come with a long boom for improved dumping height. The tire choice determines machine widths, which range from 3 feet 4 inches to 4 feet 4 inches.
Efficient Engine Power and Speed Control
Powered by Perkins diesel engines, the MCL2 and MCL4 versions offer 25 horsepower, enabling speeds of up to 12 mph (MCL4) and 7 mph (MCL2). The MCL6, MCL6+, and MCL8 models, equipped with a 49-horsepower Perkins diesel engine, reach a top speed of 12 mph, with an optional top speed of 19 mph. Mecalac’s M-Drive and speed control capabilities also allow the operators to independently control the engine speed and drive speed, transforming the loaders into highly adaptable tool carriers.
Versatile Attachment Options
The MCL series accommodates a wide range of attachments, thanks to Mecalac’s quick-coupling technology. Augers, mowers, loader buckets, and various other attachments can be easily coupled with the loaders. The inclusion of the 12V three-pole plugs and auxiliary hydraulic lines on the boom and rear further enhances attachment versatility and productivity in the machinery. For instance, operators can attach a spreader for salt on the back and a snow blade on the front, expanding the machine’s capabilities.
Enhanced Monitoring and Connectivity
Mecalac offers advanced features that help to improve equipment tracking, supervision, and theft prevention. Each operator can be assigned with a unique start-up digicode. There’s also the MyMecalac Connected telematics services which allow for remote equipment monitoring. Owners can choose to add a telematics box to any MCL model, which includes a two-year subscription to the service.
Options for Canopy and Cab
The MCL line provides options for both canopy and cab configurations. While some dealers in the United States have already received the compact loaders, Mecalac plans to introduce a collapsible canopy option later this year, further expanding the customization choices for customers.
Mecalac’s MCL series of compact loaders offers a compelling solution for projects that require a compact footprint, versatility, and speed. With their machinery’s advanced design, powerful performance, and diverse attachment options, these loaders provide users just what they need. The incorporation of monitoring and connectivity features also adds an extra layer of convenience and security.
Whether it is construction, landscaping, agriculture, or any of the other industries out there that have needs of efficient material handling and maneuverability, Mecalac Compact Loaders prove to be a valuable addition to any project or job site.
