Kubota Unveils Upgraded Small Track Loader SVL75-3

Kubota Tractor Corporation has launched the new SVL75-3 small track loader at the Con-Expo/Con-Agg 2023 event, which will replace its top-selling SVL75-2. The new model outperforms its predecessor with a wide range of performance and functionality enhancements, and the cab has been fitted with standard technical features for more effective operation.

Enhanced Features and Extras

The SVL75-3 comes with advanced features such as rearview cameras, keyless entry, a 7-inch color touchscreen, a reversing fan, and many more. According to Kubota Product Manager Jerry Corder, the new machine has undergone significant changes beyond a mere facelift.

Improved Efficiency

The Kubota engine of the SVL75-3 boasts 74.3 horsepower with a higher maximum torque, providing sufficient power for the most challenging tasks. The machine also features a cooling system management plan that reduces the power required for the hydraulically operated cooling fan during high-load activity.

The SVL75-3 has a multifunctional valve similar to that of the SVL65-2, allowing operators to work on the machine and its accessories simultaneously. This reduces the risk of stalling since the valve allows the operator to use the auxiliary hydraulics, bucket, and loader arm simultaneously. The electronic travel torque management system continuously monitors the load and adjusts the output of the hydraulic pump for increased speed and power.

Workability

The loader arms of the SVL75-3 have been redesigned for a hinge pin height that is approximately three inches higher than the SVL75-2, making it easier to dump into any container or truck. The cross pipe at the back has been raised for better rear visibility outside the cab. The machine offers 6,191 pounds of breakout force, and a rated working capacity of 2,490 pounds at 35 percent or 3,557 pounds at 50 percent. It has a selectable bucket self-leveling capability as standard.

Track Reaction Settings

The SVL75-3 also offers three different track reaction settings – mild, normal, and rapid – that operators can choose based on their preferences and the ground condition. The mild mode limits track response, making it ideal for working in more constrained spaces. The normal mode behaves like the SVL75-2, while the rapid option allows for faster reactions for quick work.

Auxiliary Hydraulics

The SVL75-3 has standard auxiliary coupler guards to keep them safe and secure. High-flow hydraulics is an additional choice, increasing the auxiliary hydraulic flow to 29.8 gallons per minute. Both 1/2″ and 3/4″ couplers are available on the coupler manifold.

Conclusion

The Kubota SVL75-3 small track loader is a significant improvement over its predecessor, offering advanced features, improved efficiency, and better workability. The upgraded machine is expected to be in stores by the first week of May 2023.
