John Deere & Co.

Liebherr Group

Liebherr is another well-known equipment manufacturing brand. It originated as a Swiss company in 1949 by Hans Liebherr. Who has not heard of the manufacturer Caterpillar? It is the most famous and trustworthy brand that specializes in supplying and manufacturing heavy equipment. Caterpillar dates back to 1925. It came onto the scene when two companies C.L. Best Tractor and Holt Manufacturing joined hands.

Holt already decided on the name Caterpillar for the new company when he first named his tracked machine “caterpillar,” inspired by its way of crawling. The name continued after the joint venture of both companies. Hence, the company Caterpillar (CAT) came into existence.
